About the Builder position

We are looking for a reliable General Contractor or firm who will organize planning and completion of construction fit out projects, including budgeting, implementation and scheduling. Your duties will include overseeing the progress of projects along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner.

You should be familiar with principles and best practices in the construction field and be able to supervise and lead people efficiently. Good knowledge about financial and quality aspects is also required.

Builder responsibilities are:

  • Organize construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that contractual conditions of performance are met

  • Perform in-depth reviews of project deliverables, schedules, costs and work progress, on a regular basis

  • Supervise all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

  • Organize and lead construction workers and subcontractors

  • Prepare tools, materials and equipment and track inventory

  • Create internal and external reports pertaining to job status

  • Plan, analyze and manage risks and problems, developing counter-measures on beforehand

  • Review and negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses

  • Adhere to quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

Builder requirements are:

  • 2+ years' or minimum of 5 jobs experience of working on a Construction Manager or other similar position

  • Profound experience with building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards

  • Good experience of participation at all stages of construction process, including collaboration, leading and planning

  • Excellent knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods

  • Practical experience with construction management software packages

  • Strong time and project management skills

  • Strong leadership and human resources management skills

  • Conflict and crisis management skills

  • Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or other relevant area is a bonus
  • Specialize in delivering commercial spaces e.g offices, retail stores, reception and lounge areas etc .
  • Team consists of Site Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, vendor partnerships who work from the inside-out and have access to highly skilled artisans and workmen
  • specialists in high-end fit-out and refurbishment, offers bespoke joinery and contracting service for the hospitality, prime residential and commercial sectors .
  • Project and budget management from A to Z of the project.
  • Fit-out consulting and advise on the best implementation strategy Space- planning, costing of construction works and interior design Interior design, fit-out works and furniture solutions including technical specification
  • Contracting with all vendors and subcontractors for construction works, interior design and furniture solutions
  • Be able to communicate with senior clients
