About the Product Manager position

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Product Manager who will bring creative ideas on building products for Spacefinish. You will work with our cross-functional teams to help them design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

We expect you to be hardworking and passionate about building new products or improving our existing products by adding features that our customers will love. You also should be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Product Manager responsibilities are:

  • Identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth

  • Identify customer needs and expectations by performing Market and Industry research

  • Recommend the scope of current and future products by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas

  • Assess Market competition

  • Translate detailed requirements into prototypes

  • Create a customer user journey map

  • Demonstrate excellent communication; engage and manage stakeholders at different levels who are both technical and non-technical

  • Grow our market share by working with sales and marketing team to develop product sales strategies

  • Develop budget and perform resource planning and recruitment

  • Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.

  • Be a teamplayer and contribute to the overall growth of the company as needed by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Develop buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

  • Prepare detailed product requirements and prototypes, based on the product strategy

  • Review and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources

  • Organize product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members

  • Analyze promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed

  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

  • Build relations with customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

Product Manager requirements are:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Engineering or relevant discipline
  • A postgraduate degree is an added advantage
  • Other relevant professional qualifications and/or certifications will be considered
  • Experience with some of the following skills: Product Management, People Management, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Requirements Analysis, Pricing, Planning, Competitive Analysis, Quality Assurance, Sales Planning, Inventory Control, Financial Planning and Strategy, Market Segmentation
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong ability of working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • MS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant area
